Under 11’s

14 October

The under 11's continued there unbeaten run with two wins over Southend on Sunday. Clapton were without influential Captain Archie Unstead who had broken his arm against Wansted the previous week. Charlie Harris filled in at Full back. Clapton dominated both games and scored a hatful of tries with most of the team crossing the line. Apologies if I have this wrong but I think the try scorers were Liam McLaughlin (first for the club), James Butler, Christian Fayolle x 2, Kieran Church x 2, Lewis Eydeman (first for the club), Aaron Daly, Harry Barker x 2, George Douglass x 3, Nqoba Mvitsho and Charlie Harris. Harry Barker and George Douglass adding the conversions.

Next week will be the boys first real big test as they travel to Thurrock for their festival. The MOM award went to James Butler for performing consistently well in every match he has played this season and for some barnstorming runs against Southend.
