Back to winning ways after getting reffed off the park last week at Cheshunt!!!

Kick off won the ball in the lose straight down the backs to see Rob Eales score the opening try converted by Charlie Oaks.  Second score by Damien Bateman and converted by Charlie Oaks (Charlie You Now Owe £30 Match Fees) Alan Chin-Shaw, Graeme Baldwin & Doodle showing the way by winning so much ball at the breakdown at times we did not know what to do with it all.... Stacy Teather called up from the ExA playing in the "SECOND ROW" (look out Smugsy we may keep him) scored our third try converted by Charlie Oaks. We then went to sleep for 15 minuets an let them score two converted tries leaving the half time score at 21-14.

Second half saw us gain ground and Charlie Oaks converted a penalty - Cantab's then drew breath a scored a try (not converted) and this was their final score of the game due to some fantastic tackling around the base of the breakdown and in the centres. We pushed up the field and gained a 5 metre line out which we won and drove over seeing Andy Carroll score an un-converted try.

This left the grand finale (which I am sure we will hear more about) but with less than 30 seconds left Owen Coyne recived a slow pass off the back of a ruck and with footwork the speed of Ronaldo he was able to turn his body a full 30 degrees before launching the ball a full 45 meters toward the posts for a last gasp drop goal to put the icing on Carroll’s match winning try.

Great game to watch and it was good to see Nick Allen back to playing ways and Nick for god sake don't argue with a LATHE again.
